Services and Information

Welcome to the Tiny Tails Miniature Horse Farm information page. We provide multiple services. Our goal is to provide the best experience with miniature horses. Because our horses are handled daily, they are people oriented, gentle, and easy to be around. We strive to promote the Miniature Horse in keeping with gentle temperments, breeding for show quality and by offering education and experience in handling, feeding, grooming, hoof care and providing fencing/shelter needs.

Bringing Miniatures to your event

Our Miniatures have entertained young and old. They can be brought to a School event, Nursing Home, Family events and gatherings, Old Home Days, etc.

We come with panels that create a small corral so the horses can be viewed and petted. Depending on the noise level and number of people, children can come into the corral to brush and be with the minis. Proper foot wear is needed, no flip flops or sandals to prevent injuried toes.

$200 for 1-2 hour Minimum, then $75 per hour. No charge for transport within a 30 mile radius of Gilmanton, $1.50/mile outside of the 30 mile radius.

Nursing Home Visits, Birthday Parties, Family Reunions, etc.

Bringing the horses to your event is what we are most popular for. I do require a 20x20 foot area minimum and a place for my truck and trailer close by. This makes set up easier and quicker.

If you are thinking about hiring our Miniatures for your event, we can add our Dwarf Nigerian Goats for an additional $25/hr. They are a great size for traveling and these girls will get up into your lap to be held. The kids have a lot of fun with them as well as the adults. A $1/mile outside of a 30 mile radius of Gilmanton Iron Works.

$50 for the 1st hour: $25/hr for additional hours or $25/hr if adding into the horse visits.

Bunnies

I can bring up to 6 bunnies (sometimes included babies if I have some) to an event for $50 for 1st hour and $25/hr after that. Mileage free up to a 30 mile radius from Gilmanton Iron Works. Than it's a $1/mile additional. These bunnies are very suitable to sit in laps, love to be cuddled and petted. I give a 20 minute talk about the breeds and general bunny facts. If adding them onto a horse or goat event, I wave the initial $50, and only charge the $25/hr.

As I work in at Peabody Home, we call them our alternative therapy: "Furry Valium".

$50/ 1st hour and $25/hr additional

Chickens

Everyone is amazed that chickens can be so docile and sit in your lap. I have Silkies and some Bantams that are quite tame and delight young and old alike. Silkies, the white fluff balls on the right above photo are the "lap dogs" of the chicken world.

$50/ for the 1st hour and $25/hr for additional time. I also give a 20 minute talk about types of chickens, egg laying and stories. I bring approx. 3-6 chickens, more if I have babies.

If added onto an above visit, only $25/hr.

Portable Petting Farm

For the complete package  (2  horses, 2-3 goats, 3+ bunnies, 3+chickens) $300/for 2 hours $400/for 4 hours.

I bring fence, a pop up tent, cages, hay bale, etc. I need access to water to fill up water buckets and room for my horse trailer and truck. My set up area is approx 25' x 25'.

Children MUST be accompanied by an adult who will assure that the child will not run, scream or hit any animals which in turn could cause an animal to run away, injuring a child or parent who might be in the flight path.

Stud Service

Spartacus is available for stud service to a few outside mares. I will need photos of mare prior to approval, proof of coggins, rabies and Registration.

Spartacus is Tripled Registered, AMHA, AMHR & WC

Small Rabbit Rescue

We will take in bunnies that are in GOOD health and provide them with proper food and shelter. We will assess or rehab behaviors to encourage them to become more social and appropriate for a new home.

We do take donations of money, cages or other rabbit related supplies to care for these rabbits.

Once a rabbit is determined that they are appropriate for a new home, we do ask a $10 rehoming fee.

Please, if you no longer want to commit to providing proper care for your bunny, don't neglect it, don't let it go in the wild, it will not survive, and don't just convince someone else to take it on a whim, call me and make arrangements to drop your bunny off here or somewhere we can agree upon.

I specialize in caring for medium sized to smaller rabbits of 7 pounds or less. If you have a larger rabbit that needs care, please provide the cage with them.
