Duchess, my miracle filly who is alive because of marestare.com dressed up to join us at the Peabody Home's Halloween contest. She is a pixie and had  a good time. She fit easily into a large dog crate in the back of my Rav4 to come to work.

I love my horses and sharing them with others. Here is a little colt, Sunny, who would do most anything asked of him. He loves people and eating, seen here doing his two favorite things.

I socialize all my horses at a young age to encourage them to be safe around children. Both horses and children need positive experiences to build their confidence.

When a child or person is behaving inappropriate or bullying the horse or any of my other animals, needless to say I ask them to leave the corral. My animals count on me to keep them safe and to handled gently. I ask in return from them that they allow people to pet and hold them. If they are mistreated even by accident by inattentive parents with hyperactive children, it ruins it for others because the animal mistrusts strangers from that point on.

So, to encourage a positive experience for all, I am very strict about removing a person/child who doesn't mind, from my animals.
